Today, 3D Exhibits is celebrating its 22nd award win of 2018—and it’s a big one. Our client, Huber Engineered Woods, took home one of just five EXHIBITOR Magazine Sizzle Awards awarded in 2018.
Huber earned its Sizzle Award with an innovative in-exhibit Instagram launch at the International Builders' Show. Huber used its brand-new Instagram presence to drive builders and industry influencers to its exhibit at the show. After filling its exhibit with compelling hands-on product demos, the company used an Instagram Meetup to promote its first-ever “Huber Engineered Woods Best of Social Awards.”
The awards appealed to influencers with humorous and industry-related categories including Blower Door Test Overachiever, Flashiest Flashing, and Most Spirited Framing. The program jump-started the company’s Instagram account—and led to an increase of over 1000 followers in just three days.
At the booth, attendees uncovered the benefits of Huber’s products first-hand by participating in live demonstrations. At the end of the three-day show, Huber experienced a 10% increase in leads, which made IBS 2018 their highest trafficked event to date.
