April 8, 2011— Elk Grove Village, IL— The evolution commenced at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, March 28 at EXHIBITOR2011 when 3D Exhibits unveiled its new tag line “in unexpected ways.” A continuation of the company’s 2010 evolve theme—“in unexpected ways” communicates 3D Exhibits’ commitment to delivering innovative and unprecedented solutions that make its clients stronger, smarter and better positioned to succeed in the marketplace.

3D Exhibits brought the tag line to life through an immersive exhibit experience which defied expectations. From a crystal chandelier to a technology tree, the environment was completely unexpected—yet completely on-target in communicating how 3D Exhibits helps clients solve complex problems, involve their audience, and resolve doubts “We didn’t do what people expected us to do, and that’s exactly what people complimented us on: our ability to develop unexpected solutions that deliver,” says Nicole Genarella, v.p. of marketing, 3D Exhibits. The program was also supported by a guerilla team and a social media hub (www.3Devohub.com) that integrated Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, flickr, LinkedIn and RSS.

Privately held 3D Exhibits is an exhibit design, fabrication and management company based in Elk Grove Village, IL.

December 8, 2010—Elk Grove Village, IL—3D Exhibits, an exhibit and event design, fabrication and management agency, has earned the first place Eddie Award from the Exhibit Designers + Producers Association for the second consecutive year, once again taking top honors in the large trade show exhibit category. This year, 3D Exhibits received this honor for “EVOLVE,” the integrated trade show marketing program it created and implemented at EXHIBITOR show in Las Vegas in March.

3D Exhibits’ “EVOLVE” program leveraged an exhibit that evolved on a daily basis to communicate how the company has evolved its approach and solutions to meet the challenges facing corporate marketers. Lighting, video, floor-embedded video, beverages served—and even the frosting color on the sugar cookies served in the exhibit—transformed daily to symbolize 3D Exhibits’ evolution and demonstrate its expertise.

Promotion for the program encompassed email blasts, social media and the interactive exhibit experience. Multiple 3D EVOLVE posts appeared on the company’s blog, YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn and Flickr, while attendees participating in a Twitter promotion were rewarded with the chance to win a Starbucks gift card. The most popular aspect of the program was the omnipresent six person E-V-O-L-V-E team. This group walked the convention center as well as the surrounding hotel and lobbies, spelling out evolve (and other words on request) with the oversized letters on the backs of their bright colored t-shirts.

The result of the program was increased awareness of 3D Exhibits among EXHIBITOR attendees that drove people to visit the exhibit multiple times over the course of the three-day show. 3D Exhibits also increased the number of qualified visitors to its exhibit versus the previous year and generated several immediate new business opportunities.

“We are especially proud to win the EDDIE Award because the other entrants are our competitors. Our program demonstrated our expertise in both exhibit design and in leveraging both traditional and social media,” says Gene Faut, president of 3D Exhibits. The Eddie Awards are the premier awards program recognizing exhibit firms, agencies and suppliers for marketing excellence. In addition, the EVOLVE program won a 2010 Sizzle Award from EXHIBITOR Magazine.

At 3D Exhibits, he will apply this knowledge to implement systems that will benchmark performance and maintain high quality at each of the 3D Exhibits facilities. The result will be cost containment and expedited turn-around. “My favorite part of the job is to see how excited the team gets once they see the incremental difference their contributions make,” says Scupin.

Gene Faut, president of 3D Exhibits, says the company will continue to bring in expertise and talent that enable the company to evolve to meet its clients’ quickly changing needs. “Bob embodies the ideal—passion, expertise and vision that will help lead 3D Exhibits into the future,” says Faut. Scupin was most recently chief operating officer at Nimlok, senior vice president of operations at Mice and vice president of manufacturing for Exhibitgroup/Giltspur. At Exhibitgroup/Giltspur, Scupin’s best practice analysis helped drive the company’s consolidation from 17 manufacturing facilities to five.

October 10, 2010—Elk Grove Village, IL—3D Exhibits, an award winning exhibit and event design, fabrication and management agency, earned just one of five 2010 Sizzle Awards from EXHIBITOR magazine. 3D Exhibits received this honor for “EVOLVE,” the integrated trade show marketing program it created and implemented at EXHIBITOR show in Las Vegas in March. The contest was EXHIBITOR Magazine’s 13th Annual Sizzle Awards honoring red-hot trade show exhibit promotions.

“The program demonstrated our expertise in both exhibit design and in creating multi-faceted programs. Our evolution was evident in that our program included both traditional and social media,” says Gene Faut, president of 3D Exhibits.
