Are you able to unplug from work while you’re on vacation? It’s important for any business that your employees make time for themselves so they’re able to keep their minds fresh and not burn themselves out. Here at 3D Exhibits we ensure our employees are using their vacation days, because with the busy exhibit and trade show lifestyle, it’s way too easy to keep pushing those days back and soon it’s getting close to the end of the year already.
If you go too long without a break the quality of your work begins to suffer and your productivity decreases. Not to mention, your stress level increases and you may start to become sick. So go ahead, focus on creating a schedule for yourself to clear your head by getting some fresh air, listen to music, plan a workout at the gym, walk outside with some co-workers, and most importantly, schedule time to visit and talk with your family and friends. When your body is deprived of relaxation and time for yourself, your performance suffers. For this week’s blog post, we want to hear from all of you how you’re able to unplug from work while you’re on vacation. How do you handle the stress of feeling like you don’t have time to take a week’s vacation? Are you able to distribute your work appropriately? Can you handle going a weekend without having your phone or computer? Let us know what some of your personal tips are for ensuring you make time for yourself and your personal life.
